STEP 1: LEARN ABOUT ZAPI, CONFIGURE AND INTEGRATE YOUR MOBILE SERVICE

Learn about Zong's API (ZAPI) in the API documentation page and Wiki. ZAPI is a RESTful API which was inspired by the coolest APIs around (Flickr, Facebook). You can then develop your app (mobile chat, alerts, billing, content download) in a few days. Adding mobile payment to an existing website with full integration with your back-end shouldn't take more than 2 days!

When using your Zong powered service, users will be billed on their monthly carrier/operator's invoice.

The mobile carrier takes a cut of each transaction for handling billing, collection and credit risk. It then pays Zong.

Zong pays you the revenue generated by your service and deducts a small transaction fee (as low as 3% - % varies according to volume. The more volume, the smaller the fee).
